flyingbear is an aerial Panoramic photography and video imagery business based in Wiltshire and covering the surrounding areas.

We take unique photographs using a hexacopter, more commonly known as a drone with, in our case, six propellors. We fly low (up to 400ft) and carry a very high resolution Sony DSLR.  We’re able to capture images that are hard/ impossible or really expensive to get from manned aircraft.

We are Civil Aviation Authority licenced to fly commercially and are fully insured.  Safety is our prime concern.

ABOUT FLYINGBEAR

flyingbear provides affordable aerial panorams and stills along with video footage for an almost infinite range of applications. Whether marketing a property, surveying or inspecting buildings or a special present to mark an important occasion, flyingbear will tailor its service to your needs.

We are based just north of Marlborough near Royal Wootton Bassett in the heart of the stunning Wiltshire countryside.

We operate several drones (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)), or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). These are remote controlled multi-rotor helicopters that carries a high definition camera. They are relatively small machines that are able to take-off and land from confined areas such as private gardens. They are powered by electric motors, therefore minimizing disturbance to neighbours or nearby livestock. Where possible we charge the batteries from our own solar panels, thus reducing environmental impact.

Ayhan Dawood, the Remote Pilot (RP) gained his Private Pilot’s Licence in 1992. Since then he has logged hundreds of hours in single engine aircraft in the UK as well as France, Kenya, Bahamas and the USA. Buried somewhere in a pile of cardboard boxes in the shed are thousands of photographs taken during those trips.
